The Peddlers

The entire Sole What? crew are into Fixed Gear and together with our friends from Blinkville, David & Skylab did a bit of peddling the other nite/s at the boulevard in Mid Valley Gardens.

It was a fun, addictive and spirited affair. We are all looking forward to the next meet-up.

Killer Gerbil Exhibition

Over the weekend, a close-knit group of supporters and street art aficionados sacrificed a night of Singapore’s alluring nightlife and braved their way to a desolate stretch of automobile workshops for The Killer Gerbil’s first ever solo art exhibition. The collection of works, titled Family, showcased a series of portrait sketches, photographs, as well as tagged-art on canvas, license plates and even a Vespa scooter and car.

Astro Chinese Feature

The Astro (Jia Yu 304) crew for their weekly special "Mary Go Round", was in-store to film a special segment for the upcoming coverage on street culture in Malaysia.

The segment will be in Chinese n who better to represent Sole What? but our very own Nelson.

Watch out for the "special" at the end of May.

Sole What? is proud to present to all of you the KiksTyo x Aki Hoshino tee, that was photographed by renowned photographer from Tokyo, Yasumasa Yonehara (YONE).

We will launch the 2 very special tees at the store:

We will be giving out the special Aki Kubricks to those that cop the tees on THE day only. Quantities are extremely limited so DON'T SLEEP!!!

Family Art Exhibition

Family art exhibition is a solo showcase of local renown graffiti artist known as The Killer Gerbil. The event will be organized and hosted by Geseho, with support from Sole Obsession (SG) and Streething (KL).

Thru this event, Geseho hopes to bring the local talents and the street fashion community together to make some noise and represent Singapore in the world of streetwear.

If you happen to be in Singapore this weekend, don't miss out on the exhibition.

NIKE’s history of creative collaborations with artists such as Junya Watanabe, Futura and Mr. Cartoon has resulted in building some of the brand’s most innovative shoes that have transcended sport and style, pushing the brand even further forward. For Summer 2008, NIKE will have a new creative partner for the Air Force 1: NIKE itself.

Vice President of Innovation, Tinker Hatfield lent a hand creating his first Air Force 1 line as part of the Summer 08 collection referencing materials he had previously pioneered using, including the safari (Safari), metal mesh (Spiridon), and tennis ball inspired fabric (Talaria), that had never been used before on the AF1.
